AERIAL FITNESS

Start flying in our introductory and mixed level aerial hoop and aerial silks classes!

INTRO TO AERIAL HOOP

Learn the fundamentals of lyra (aerial hoop) including mounts, poses and flexibility work in this 60 minute class. Suggested attire: leggings and a form-fitting tank or t-shirt .

 

Pre-requisite: None$27 or one class pass hour.

BEGINNER AERIAL HOOP

Build upon the fundamentals presented in our Intro Workshop and add mounts, poses and beginner choreography to your lyra repertoire in this 60 minute class.

 

Pre-requisite: Intro to Aerial Hoop. $27 or one class pass hour.

INTERMEDIATE AERIAL HOOP

Continue to build upon skills acquired in our beginner hoop class, and start to focus on more difficult movements and transitions.

 

Pre-requisite: Beginner Aerial Hoop or instructor permission. Students are expected to be proficient in mounts, as well as beginner moves such as mermaid, amazon, gazelle, and unassisted knee hangs.

AERIAL HOOP CHOREOGRAPHY

This class is focused on turning singular aerial movements into a dance that is as fun to watch as it is to perform! 

 

Pre-requisite: Intro to Aerial Hoop or instructor permission. Students are expected to have an understanding of mounts and basic movements in the hoop.

BEGINNER AERIAL SLING

Learn beginner level aerial sling moves, essential vocabulary, and continue to grow more comfortable with the basics of this super fun apparatus!

  Suggested attire: leggings and a form-fitting tank or t-shirt.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT  Aerial Yoga

OPEN AERIAL (HOOP & SILKS)

60min open studio time for aerial silks and aerial hoop students to further practice what they've been working on in regular class. Perfect for getting extra training on a "nemesis" move, revisiting some basics, or getting some extra fly time in.


Please note:
1. Pre-req: Intro to Hoop and/or prior experience with hoop (or equivalent for silks), or instructor permission
2. Instructor will be in studio, but will not be providing formal instruction.
3 . Students are not to teach other students.
